While Grafton's victory against Lincoln wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bearcats had just enough and edged out the Cougars 4-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Grafton's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Moats, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Grafton pushed their record up to 16-13 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Lincoln, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-11.

Coincidentally, Grafton and Lincoln will both be playing Doddridge County the next time they take the field. The Bearcats will head out to face the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Cougars will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
