Salisbury has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Parkside Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Salisbury comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Last Thursday, Salisbury ended up a good deal behind Laurel and lost 39-24.
Parkside has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 67-19 win over Bennett at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Parkside.
Zion Oge continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for her. Diamond Dixon was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Salisbury bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Parkside, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Salisbury was taken down by Parkside 64-16 in their previous meeting back in January of 2019. Can Salisbury avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
