Imagine Prep has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Premier Prep- PHHoenix Open Fire at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Friday, Imagine Prep faced Dream City Christian National in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Imagine Prep blew past Dream City Christian National 62-25 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Imagine Prep has posted since December 12, 2023.
Imagine Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hayden Kelton led the charge by scoring 17 points. Kelton is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. Jaylen Cassidy was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 13 assists and five steals.
Meanwhile, Premier Prep- PHHoenix Open was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Bella Vista Open 81-38 on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Premier Prep- PHHoenix Open.
Imagine Prep pushed their record up to 12-1 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.93 points. As for Premier Prep- PHHoenix Open, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.
