On Friday North Arlington take on Butler at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against North Arlington, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
North Arlington had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They might be aching after a bruising 6-38 defeat to Becton last week. North Arlington were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-26.
Meanwhile, Butler took care of business in their home opener. Everything went their way against Cresskill as they made off with a 32-6 win.
Butler's victory lifted them to 1-0 while North Arlington's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Butler's success rolls on or if North Arlington are able to steal their positive momentum.
