Jimtown hasn't had much luck against Glenn recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Jimmies will welcome the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. Jimtown will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, Jimtown needed a bit of extra time to put away Kouts. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mustangs & Fillies 5-4. That's two games straight that the Jimmies have won by just one run.

Dalton Cook made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs.
In other batting news, Jimtown let Mason Armstrong and Broderic Kaler run wild. Armstrong went 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run, while Kaler got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs. That's the most RBI Armstrong has posted since back in May of 2024.
Jimtown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Glenn didn't have quite enough to beat Kankakee Valley on Monday and fell 4-2. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jimtown pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
Glenn's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Jimtown hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .344. It's a different story for Glenn, though, as they've only averaged .241. Will they be able to contain Jimtown's hitters?
Jimtown couldn't quite finish off Glenn in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 3-1. Can the Jimmies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
