Family Christian is a perfect 6-0 against East Feliciana since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Flames will venture away from home to face off against the Tigers at 11:00 a.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Family Christian fell victim to St. Amant and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Gators. The Flames have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, East Feliciana started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Independence. They came up short against Independence on Friday, falling 20-2. The defeat continues a trend for East Feliciana in their meetings with Independence: they've now lost five in a row.

East Feliciana saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ke'Marion Matthews, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-1. Matthews has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played. John Goudeau was another, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

East Feliciana's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Family Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-14.

Saturday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Family Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .490. However, it's not like East Feliciana struggles in that department as they've averaged .431. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Everything went Family Christian's way against East Feliciana in their previous matchup back in March, as Family Christian made off with a 15-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Flames since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
