The Bullis Bulldogs stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. Everything went their way against Georgetown Visitation Prep as Bullis made off with a 62-38 win. Given Bullis' advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked fourth in Maryland, while Georgetown Visitation Prep is ranked 28th in District of Columbia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bullis found their leader in underclassman Ivanna Manyacka, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 21 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Manyacka has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Adora Nwude, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Bullis is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Georgetown Visitation Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bullis will take on St. Andrew's Episcopal at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. As for Georgetown Visitation Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sidwell Friends at 5:45 p.m.
