Rifle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Avery Ward, who posted ten points and seven steals. That's the most steals Ward has posted since back in December of 2024. Elle Garcia was another key player, putting up six points along with eight boards and three steals.
Basalt's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Rifle, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-18.
