The Penn Cambria Panthers will head out to square off against the Forest Hills Rangers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Penn Cambria came out on top against Greater Johnstown on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fourth inning. The Panthers never let the Trojans get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Sophia Rabatin made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over six innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.
In other batting news, Marley Shaffer was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Autumn Yeoman was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two RBI.
Meanwhile, Forest Hills entered their tilt with Chestnut Ridge on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 5-2.
Avery Smiach spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on two hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Morgan Gdula, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Mylee Gdula also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Penn Cambria pushed their record up to 6-13 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Forest Hills, their record is now 15-1.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Penn Cambria hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .318. However, it's not like Forest Hills struggles in that department as they've averaged .354. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Penn Cambria suffered a grim 11-2 defeat to Forest Hills in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
