Meanwhile, Ambassador Christian School waltzed into their contest on Thursday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They blew past the Hawks 3-0.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ambassador Christian School was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-7, 25-3.
Davidson Day better focus on containing Carsyn Brady and Chloe Roadcap as the pair were huge in Ambassador Christian School's win. Brady had seven aces and four digs, while Roadcap had ten digs and three aces. Those seven aces gave Brady a new career-high.
Ambassador Christian School was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matches.
Davidson Day's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Ambassador Christian School, their win bumped their record up to 20-5.
