The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northern Durham in their matchups with Riverside-Durham: they've now lost four in a row.
Jamarion Ross was on fire for Riverside-Durham: he rushed for 280 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per carry. Ross was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 55 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Kelly, who threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
Northern Durham's defeat was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 9.6 points per game. As for Riverside-Durham, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.
