Make it 17 blowout wins for the Hanks Knights this season. They took their match on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-14 victory over Horizon. Winning may never get old, but Hanks sure is getting used to it with their 13th in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hanks to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anette Hernandez, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Hernandez is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 21 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Burton, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Hanks has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season. As for Horizon, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-21.
Hanks will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Del Valle at 7:30 p.m. Del Valle is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Horizon, they will challenge Ysleta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Ysleta focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Tuesday.
