The Eastern Hancock Royals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 75-60 victory over Union County. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Kayden Ruble, who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. Luke Morris was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
The win got Eastern Hancock back to even at 5-5. As for Union County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Eastern Hancock won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Greenfield-Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 13th. Greenfield-Central is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Union County, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Tri at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Hopefully Tri focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Saturday.
