Mayville found their leader in underclassman Jackson Buhl, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. Buhl is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Mason Halsne, who scored 12 points.
Mayville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for Caseville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mayville will take on the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Carsonville-Port Sanilac is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
