Corvallis entered their tilt with McKay on Wednesday with 12 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 13. They were the clear victors by a 17-7 margin over the Royal Scots. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 12 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Corvallis got a massive performance out of Andrew Street, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those three runs gave Street a new career-high. Logan Lassiter was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Corvallis kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive games.

Corvallis pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for McKay, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.
