Mountain View-Gotebo had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Snyder Cyclones as the Mountain View-Gotebo Tigers made off with a 19-6 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Trigger Trogglin made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Trogglin was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
