Basketball Recap: Providence Classical Christian Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Owen Mattull and John Glover

Providence Classical Christian Academy lost against Heritage Classical Christian Academy back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The game between the Panthers and the Hawks didn't end well, with the Panthers falling 51-37. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Providence Classical Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from John Glover and Owen Mattull. Glover dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds, while Mattull posted 17 points along with six steals and three blocks. Glover is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Providence Classical Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Heritage Classical Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Coincidentally, Providence Classical Christian Academy and Heritage Classical Christian Academy will both be playing Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis the next time they take the court. The Hawks will head out to face the Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
