After six games on the road, Boston Trinity Academy is heading back home. They will take on the Gann Academy Red Heifers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boston Trinity Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully the Red Heifers like a good challenge.
Last Thursday, Boston Trinity Academy humbled the Cougars with a 73-43 victory.
Boston Trinity Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wellbi Perez-Valera, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Perez-Valera hasn't dropped below 18 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Cameron Martin, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Meanwhile, Gann Academy was the victim of a tough 73-51 loss at the hands of the Lions back in January.
Boston Trinity Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Gann Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Everything went Boston Trinity Academy's way against the Red Heifers when the teams last played back in January as the Lions made off with a 73-51 victory.
