On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mylo Pereira, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Davis, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Park Vista entered their tilt with Palm Beach Gardens on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Gators by a score of 5-1. The game was the first time the Cobras have beaten the Gators on their field since February 21, 2022.
Aidan Hock spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, Will Bavaro was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Cooper Ellis, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases.
Park Vista pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Boca Raton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-16.
