After three games on the road, Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Pleasant Ridge Rams on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy strolled past Oskaloosa with points to spare, taking the game 49-31.
Meanwhile, Pleasant Ridge waltzed into their contest Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 69-18 victory over Horton. Pleasant Ridge might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three games by 20 points or more this season.
Isabela Major was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Potter, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for Pleasant Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
