Hoosier North Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Kole Wilcox's Big Game Leads North Judson-San Pierre over Pioneer
Kole Wilcox was instrumental in extending North Judson-San Pierre's winning streak to nine on Friday. Wilcox turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 123 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also picking up 75 receiving yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles.
Wilcox must have Pioneer's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Wilcox saw the Panthers), he rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 47 receiving yards.

A Season-Best Performance from Jesiah Mcdaniel Leads North Judson-San Pierre over Pioneer
Jesiah Mcdaniel produced his most outstanding game to date while leading North Judson-San Pierre to the win on Friday. Mcdaniel rushed for 165 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Unfortunately for Pioneer, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Mcdaniel. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Mcdaniel saw the Panthers), he rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 84 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Another Game with at Least 115 Rushing Yards from Micah Rans
Micah Rans continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 115 rushing yards. He rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 62 yards and a touchdown. Pioneer is undefeated when Rans posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.
If the past is any indication, Rans could be in store for another big game when he takes on Caston on Friday. Rans rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 21 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Comets duked it out back in September.
