There's no place like home for Woodbridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Seaford Bluejays on Thursday. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Makayla Lessner made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kimora Harris, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April. Makayla Goff also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Woodbridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .706. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seaford only posted an OBP of .318.

Woodbridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Seaford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
