Zac Agichtein put forth a good effort for the losing side as he dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. That was a full 42.3% of Atlanta Jewish Academy's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Edan Eyal, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cross Keys' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Stone Mountain 76-39.
Cross Keys' defeat came about despite a quality game from Christian Holmes, who scored 17 points. That was a full 43.6% of Cross Keys' points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Geronimo Edwards was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Atlanta Jewish Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8. As for Cross Keys, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
