The Arundel Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Annapolis Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Arundel will be strutting in after a victory while Annapolis will be coming in after a loss.
Arundel put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 35-0 win over South River. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Arundel's nine-point performance the match before.
Meanwhile, Annapolis ended up a good deal behind Meade on Thursday and lost 35-20. Annapolis has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Henry Koppels put forth a good effort for the losing side as he picked up 123 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Arundel has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Annapolis, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Arundel strolled past Annapolis in their previous matchup back in April of 2021 by a score of 24-8. Does Arundel have another victory up their sleeve, or will Annapolis turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
