There's no place like home for Mulberry Grove, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Thursday. They skirted past the Patoka Warriors  2-1. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Aces as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Mulberry Grove got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-18, 23-25,  25-20.
 Addy Buatte paced Mulberry Grove's offense, picking up six kills. Buatte got some help from  Lola Johnson and her 11 assists. Finally,  Buatte was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.
Mulberry Grove's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Patoka, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mulberry Grove will welcome First Baptist Academy  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Patoka, they will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Dieterich  at 6:00  p.m. The Warriors are facing the Movin Maroons at the right time seeing as the Movin Maroons are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
