Comanche is 0-7 against Brock since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Comanche Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Brock Eagles at 6:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Comanche had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.6 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They blew past Breckenridge 85-53 on the road. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Comanche had established a 24 point advantage.
Meanwhile, Brock came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Early 52-24 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Brock has posted since December 19, 2023.
Comanche's victory was their 13th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.9 points per game. As for Brock, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.
Comanche ended up a good deal behind Brock in their previous matchup on January 2nd, losing 47-32. Can Comanche avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
