The Atkins Camels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 60-22 defeat at the hands of Dudley. Atkins lost against Dudley in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 47-42 score last time.
Dudley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kimora Haith out in front who scored 16 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Heaven Cooper, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Atkins has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Dudley, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Atkins will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rockingham County at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Dudley will be home for the holidays to greet Page at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
