They took a 57-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. Owings Mills has struggled against the Rams recently, as their game on Monday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Owings Mills still got an impressive performance from Marcus Nelson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Nelson has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. Gariel Avelino-Tirado was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Owings Mills has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Randallstown, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Owings Mills will take on the Bulls at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hereford is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Randallstown, they will head out on the road to square off against the Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lansdowne has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 18.
