Bunn had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Louisburg on Monday. The Wildcats blew past the Warriors 8-0. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by seven runs or more this season.

Bunn pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Louisburg, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5.

Bunn didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-3 defeat against South Central on the 15th. Hopefully Louisburg paid attention to the Wildcats' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
