AAA Region I recap September 10, 2013
Emerald was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to fifth in AAA Region I. Earlier in the week, the Vikings defeated Ware Shoals 28-10.
Seneca moved up to 47 from 76 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bobcats were able to make move up by topping Easley 7-6.
Belton-Honea Path's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dylan Spence threw for 105 and 2 touchdowns and Eric Boggs had 30 yards receiving. On the ground Anthony White chipped in 94 yards. Janike Mangle helped Belton-Honea Path's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 24 yards.
