The Orangewood Christian Rams lost against the Lyman Greyhounds back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Orangewood Christian ended up on the wrong side of a rough 79-54 walloping at the hands of Lyman.
Orangewood Christian's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Roby McClarnon, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Barber, who scored 12 points.
Lyman was led to victory by Coleman Miller and Max Mattingly. Miller scored 13 points, while Mattingly scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brock Masters, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Orangewood Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lyman, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orangewood Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Geneva at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. As for Lyman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Freedom at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Freedom has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three contests.
