After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crest, Gilbert was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Midlakes Screaming Eagles 15-1. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Gilbert's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Midlakes, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gilbert will host Gray Collegiate Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The War Eagles will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Midlakes, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mynderse Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Screaming Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season.
