Glenwood had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in February.

Olivia Coger and Makenna Casner scored both of Glenwood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 26 goals.

Glenwood pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three matches. As for Alabama Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenwood will challenge Opelika at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Glenwood will be up against Opelika's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.07 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Alabama Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Wetumpka at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alabama Christian Academy are facing Wetumpka at the right time seeing as Wetumpka are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
