Meanwhile, James Island lost 9-3 to Covenant Day on Tuesday.

James Island saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rachel Manchester, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Lucy Beckham is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. James Island now has a losing record of 2-3.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Lucy Beckham has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like James Island struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
