Tri-County recap Oct. 30, 2012
California extended the longest winning streak in Tri-County this week by beating Missouri Military Academy, 71-0. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
California took down the Colonels 71-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Osage's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Bo Dean threw for 311 and three touchdowns and Dylan Jeffries had 185 yards receiving. On the ground Dean chipped in 153 yards. Taylor Margetts helped Osage's passing attack out by catching three balls for 67 yards.
Osage's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dean has thrown for 2378 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Jeffries has 64 catches for 1119 yards. Dean also leads the league in rushing with 1374 yards.
Eldon and Ava played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Eldon eventually emerging with a 12-7 victory.
