After losing to the Chelsea Academy Knights the last time they met, the Immanuel Christian Warriors decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Immanuel Christian enjoyed a cozy 62-46 victory over the Knights on Friday.
Immanuel Christian was led to victory by Josh Choat and Cameron Blanding. Choat scored 12 points, while Blanding scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Kobe Baldwin, who scored eight points.
Immanuel Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Chelsea Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Immanuel Christian will take on the Tempest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity at Meadow View is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Chelsea Academy, they will head out on the road to take on the Saints at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
