Compass Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Emma Coleman, who scored 10 points, and Ellyson Wright who scored 1 points. Coleman continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
The last time Big Spring lost on the road was back last Saturday. Having now won six straight away matches, they've pushed their record up to 1-12. As for Compass Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Big Spring will take on San Angelo Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. San Angelo Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Big Spring in Texas (San Angelo Central is ranked 206th, while Big Spring is ranked 1402nd). As for Compass Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ozona at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ozona's defense has only allowed 26 points per game this season, so Compass Academy's offense will have their work cut out for Compass Academy.
