It was a good run, but Mt. Whitney unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Redwood Rangers. The Pioneers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rangers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-9, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Elise Minnick, who had six digs and two aces.

Mt. Whitney's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Redwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record this season.

Mt. Whitney has already played their next match (against Porterville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Redwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against El Diamante on the 8th.
