Asheboro Hybrid Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of McKenna Voncannon, who scored eight points along with two steals, and Kayden Mabe who scored two points.
College Prep & Leadership Academy's defeat was their tenth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-12. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.2 points per game. As for Asheboro Hybrid Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
