Baseball Recap: Kingswood's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kingswood extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 8-2 in the process. They came out on top against the Plymouth Bobcats by a score of 5-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-7 back in April.

As for Plymouth, they now have a losing record of 7-8. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Plymouth's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Dodge, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That double was Dodge's first of the season.

Kingswood didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-0 victory against St. Thomas Aquinas on the 17th. As for Plymouth, they will head out to square off against Pembroke at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
