Ty'lyn Blackwell-Williams Delivers Best Effort of Season
Ty'Lyn Blackwell-Williams produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Nyack to the win on Thursday. Blackwell-Williams rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 144 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
With the win, Nyack broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-5. Blackwell-Williams and Nyack will face off against Clarkstown South at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Rye Wins 16th-Straight Thanks to Ty Ramachandran
Ty Ramachandran was instrumental in extending Rye's winning streak to 16 on Sunday. Ramachandran turned in his biggest game of the season, rushing for 101 yards, while also catching a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
Rye pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Ramachandran and Rye will challenge Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Carson Miller's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Rye picked up their 16th consecutive win on Sunday thanks in part to Carson Miller. Miller rushed for 94 yards on only five carries, and also threw for 35 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
This year, Miller has thrown 16 touchdowns (and and only 3 pick) while averaging 233.2 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one passing touchdown.
