Lexington hasn't had much luck against North Platte recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Lexington will head out to take on North Platte at 5:00 p.m. Lexington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Lexington will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Hastings, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Lexington had just enough and edged out Hastings 2-1. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Gisselle Maravilla was the driving force of Lexington's attack as she scored both of Lexington's goals, bringing her season total up to six goals.

Meanwhile, North Platte kept a clean sheet against Grand Island on Saturday. They beat the Islanders by a goal, winning 1-0. North Platte haven't had any issues with Grand Island recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The win got North Platte back to even at 2-2. As for Lexington, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.

Lexington suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to North Platte when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Lexington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
