The Lockport Lions lost against the Wilson Lakemen back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Lockport lost to Wilson on the road by a decisive 54-40 margin.
Wilson was led to victory by Peyton McInnis and Rian Faery. McInnis scored 22 points along with eight rebounds, while Faery dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten steals. The match was McInnis' fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Lockport's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1. As for Wilson, they pushed their record up to 2-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lockport will challenge Niagara Falls at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilson, they will head out on the road to face off against Royalton-Hartland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
