The St. Francis Spartans fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They enjoyed a cozy 35-17 victory over Nazareth Academy on Friday. For St. Francis, this counts as revenge for the 56-28 defeat Nazareth Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2014.
St. Francis got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alessio Milivojevic out in front who threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. St. Francis also got a significant boost from Tyvonn Ransom, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 124 yards.
St. Francis' victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Nazareth Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-5.
St. Francis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Nazareth Academy is also done with their season.
