Last Tuesday, Keytesville took a serious blow against Hardin-Central, falling 75-37. Keytesville has not had much luck with Hardin-Central recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Hale's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 75-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grundy County/Newtown-Harris. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (56), Hale still had to take the loss.
Keytesville's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Hale, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
Keytesville was taken down by Hale 78-40 in their previous meeting back in November. Can Keytesville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
