After flying high against the Kingsway Christian Eagles last Monday, the Loudonville Redbirds came back down to earth. Loudonville was dealt a 80-45 defeat at the hands of Mansfield Christian on Friday. Loudonville has struggled against Mansfield Christian recently, as their game on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Amarr Davis was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 23 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dre Martin, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Loudonville now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mansfield Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Loudonville will stay at home for another game and welcome Fairless at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. Fairless is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Mansfield Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Plymouth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Plymouth will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 325th, while Mansfield Christian is ranked 133rd).
