After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glastonbury, East Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Northwest Catholic Lions 17-1. Considering the Eagles have won eight matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Delaney Poach and Ella Lassard did most of the damage at the plate: Poach went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double, while Lassard went 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Poach has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Ciara Flaherty, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs.
