The Madison Dodgers will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against The Pingry School Big Blue at 4:15 p.m. on February 5th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in New Jersey (Madison is ranked 12th, while the Big Blue are ranked 25th).
Last Saturday, Madison was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 41-35 to the Falcons. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Madison has scored all season.
Meanwhile, The Pingry School had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lawrenceville School 59-28 at home. The Pingry School has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 24 points or more this season.
Madison's loss dropped their record down to 16-3. As for The Pingry School, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home.
