Midland came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They beat the South Beauregard Knights by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 49-44. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-44 last Tuesday.

Midland pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.4 points per game. As for South Beauregard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.
