Park Vista has gone 6-1 against Suncoast recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Park Vista Cobras will head out on the road to face off against the Suncoast Chargers at 6:30 p.m. Park Vista is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.
Park Vista's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Leonard 16-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cobras.

At the plate, Tristan Pokabla was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Antonio Casella was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
Park Vista hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Suncoast fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.
Jayden Agudelo was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases.
Park Vista's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Suncoast, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Park Vista has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Suncoast struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Park Vista took their win against Suncoast in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 9-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Park Vista since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
